New Found Glory has just released a new track called “Listen Up!” This song is the second single from their upcoming album, which will hit stores on February 20 through Pure Noise Records. Guitarist Chad Gilbert describes it as the heaviest song on the record, but with a party vibe. He shared that the song reflects on an old venue where the band used to play every weekend, filled with hardcore bands and wild experiences. Looking back, he notes it was a dangerous place with lots of fights and chaos. The song captures the fun they had while not realizing how risky it was.
“Listen Up!” marks the band’s first full-length album in six years. The new collection focuses on themes of resilience and hope during tough times.
In addition to the album release, New Found Glory will hit the road with Yellowcard for The Up Up Down Down Tour starting in May. Plain White T’s will also join them. The tour will cover 24 cities, kicking off on May 6 in Atlanta and wrapping up on June 17 in Boston. Other stops include Chicago, Denver, Nashville, and New York.
