BREATH ATLANTIS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM OVERDRIVE OUT MARCH 18

German metalcore whiz kids BREATHE ATLANTIS have announced their new album Overdrive, out March 18 via Arising Empire. Pre-order the record, which comes in limited colored vinyl and via bundles, here.

Overdrive serves as a true arrival for Breathe Atlantis.

Watch the recently released “Changes” video, featuring Eskimo Callboy’s Nico Sallachhere.

Overdrivehas become a turning point for us, which we all needed,” explains singer Nico Schiesewitz. “On the record, we process our past, in which we were often frustrated and depressed due to external circumstances and we felt limited and constricted by expectations or external ideas. On this album, we just did what we felt like doing and wrote and shouted everything from the soul. This is our most honest and emotional album we’ve written so far and I think it will speak to a lot of people.”

The album was produced by Andy Posdziech (Any Given Day).

The band continues, “Musically, we just went the way that felt best for us. There were only two choices left: Start over or admit the end of that path. We are here to express our feelings through music and deliver the most honest and meaningful art. It just felt right for us to aim for a darker and heavier sound than ever before. This ongoing pandemic was, of course, fuel to the fire.”

Breathe Atlantis released Soulmade in 2019. They have played countless shows with the likes of Sum 41, Memphis May Fire, Attila, Bury Tomorrow, Crossfaith, and beyond. Over time, the band has developed its catchy songs that encourage sing-alongs, Lang with brutal mosh parts and that don’t sugarcoat anything.

BREATHE ATLANTIS ARE:
Nico Schiesewitz | Vocals
Jan Euler | Guitar
Lasse Weigang | Bass
Silas Fischer | Drums
