
Nicholas Galitzine is opening up about his physical transformation for Masters of the Universe.
The 31-year-old actor will be playing He-Man in the upcoming live-action movie directed by Travis Knight. To embody the comic book character, Nicholas had to bulk up long before stepping foot on set.
In a new interview, Nicholas detailed the toll the transformation took on his body, calling it a āreally interesting experience.ā

āIāve never had a challenge like that before, which really every single day you have to wake up and you can see the peak of the mountain vaguely,ā he continued, ābut especially when youāre bulking. I think it would be insincere for me to say that it was easy.ā
Nicholas admitted he felt ābody dysmorphiaā as he bulked up.
āYou donāt recognize yourself, you donāt fit in any of your clothes anymore,ā he added, noting that he got so big that he left a ādefinite dentā on the side of the bed he slept on.
āBut really, Iām so gratified that I got to experience it and trying to fit this very larger-than-life character,ā Nicholas added, but emphasized, āItās not something Iād be keen to do or maintain all year round.ā
