The Mars Volta have announced a brief US tour for September 2026, promising a setlist that covers their entire career. Unlike their more focused runs in recent years, the upcoming outing will see the experimental rock act performing songs from across their extensive discography. The tour is set to kick off on September 8 in Ventura, California, and will include a homecoming show in El Paso, Texas, before concluding on September 20 at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kanye West has now been barred from entering the United Kingdom after his visa request was officially denied by the Home Office. A spokesperson for the department confirmed to the BBC that the decision was made because West’s presence "would not be conducive to the public good." The ruling effectively cancels his scheduled performance as the headliner for all three days of this summer’s Wireless Festival in London.
The denial follows intense pressure from UK officials, including Prime Minister Keir Starmer and London Mayor Sadiq Khan, as well as Jewish community leaders. The opposition stemmed from West's history of antisemitic rhetoric, which includes selling swastika-emblazoned merchandise and releasing a track titled "Heil Hitler" in 2025. Despite a public apology published in The Wall Street Journal earlier this year and promoter Melvin Benn’s recent call for "forgiveness," the British government has opted to prevent the rapper from taking the stage at Finsbury Park.

Billy Idol has announced the next leg of his global tour, titled "It’s A Nice Day To… Tour Again!" Produced by Live Nation, the summer run of arenas and amphitheaters will kick off on August 7 at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The tour also includes a week-long residency at Las Vegas' Fontainebleau titled "Hot In The City: Las Vegas," running from August 28 through September 5.

The tour announcement follows the success of Idol's first full-length album of new music in over a decade, Dream Into It, which debuted at No. 7 on the U.S. Top Albums Chart. The record features contributions from longtime collaborator Steve Stevens, as well as guest appearances by Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart. Fans can also catch the new feature-length documentary, Billy Idol Should Be Dead, currently streaming on Hulu. Tickets for the new tour dates go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 10, at noon local time.

Neal Schon has officially responded to claims that Arnel Pineda was pressured into joining Journey's ongoing "Final Frontier" farewell tour.
