Nickelback has reacted to Jack Black’s fun take on their hit song “How You Remind Me.” During an interview with IMDb to promote his new movie Anaconda, Black sang a bit of the 2001 chart-topper. While he kept the melody, he mixed up some of the lyrics, adding his own swearing and improvisation.
Nickelback noticed Black’s performance and commented on IMDb’s post, saying, “The perfect song for snake-hunting.” They also praised him, saying, “Lyrics aside, you nailed it @jackblack!”
But that’s not all! Nickelback even suggested an idea for an Anaconda sequel. They joked that best friends Jack Black and Paul Rudd should remake the Nickelback documentary.
Fans are left wondering if Anaconda 2: The Rise of Nickelback will ever happen. For now, Anaconda is in theaters, and the Nickelback documentary Hate to Love premiered in 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!
