Nicki Minaj has today (February 4) released her Lil Baby collaboration, “Do We Have A Problem?.”

The track is the rapper’s first release of 2022 after teasing it through a hotline that fans could unload their problems on.

The single comes accompanied by a near-10-minute music video that sees Minaj take on the role of a secret agent who goes to the dark side. The video was directed by Benny Boom and stars Joseph Sikora (Ozark, Power) and Cory Hardrict (The Chi, S.W.A.T.), as well as the two rappers.

Ahead of the track’s release, Minaj gave fans at the LA Clippers game at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena a sneak preview. She also performed her Diamond-certified single “Super Bass” at the event and was given her own personalized jersey by the team.

Later, the rap icon stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden to talk about the track. “I get nervous every single time,” she said of her feelings before releasing new music. “Because you want people to like what you do – we wouldn’t be doing it if we didn’t want approval from our fans.”

After Corden commented on the grand scale of the video, Minaj spoke about the idea behind it. “Before I was famous, I went to school and studied acting so I was like, ‘You know what, why don’t I bring something that I love to do to my music video, which is acting,’” she said. “We got Joseph Sikora and Cory Hardrict and Lil Baby is actually a great actor in my opinion as well, and we just did something that is in my lane, not me doing anything in anyone else’s lane.”

Last year, ex-Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson recruited Minaj for her debut solo single, “Boyz.” The US star declared the team-up, which saw the pair collaborate over a sample of Diddy’s 2001 anthem “Bad Boy 4 Life,” a reunion of “the UK baddie and the Barbie!”
