Nine Inch Nails took the stage at the world premiere of the movie Tron: Ares in Los Angeles on Monday. The band performed tracks from their new soundtrack for the film, including the single “As Alive as You Need Me to Be.” This soundtrack is special because it’s officially labeled as a NIN project, even though Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have scored films together before.
You can catch clips from the performance on Disney Studios’ Instagram. Tron: Ares, featuring Jared Leto from Thirty Seconds to Mars, will be in theaters this Friday, and the soundtrack is already available.
In other news, Nine Inch Nails wrapped up the 2025 leg of their Peel It Back world tour in September. They’ve just announced a new leg for 2026, which will kick off in February.
