Nirvana is on the Soundtrack for ‘Bridgerton’ Season Two

Nirvana has been making the soundtrack rounds as of late. First, The Batmanand now…Netflix’s Bridgerton?!

Yes, the delightfully romantic/horny period series that became a massive hit during the pandemic is about to drop its second season, and the grunge icons will be part of it. Just like in the first season, popular songs will be given a classical, string quartet makeover to match the series’ setting in Regency era London.

Per Nylon, the Nirvana song that has been chosen to be part of the soundtrack for the second season of Bridgerton is “Stay Away” from their landmark 1991 album Nevermind.

Other tracks set for the soundtrack are Madonna’s “Material Girl,” Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own,” Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know,” Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”

Bridgerton season two hits Netflix on March 25. Its trailer can be viewed below.
