Nirvana photos taken at a club show days after the release of Nevermind are now available as NFTs.

These Nirvana NFTs are available via PopLegendz.com and will be up for grabs on February 20, which also marks what would’ve been Kurt Cobain’s 55th birthday. The photos come via photographer Faith West from Nirvana’s October 1, 1991 show at J.C. Dobbs in Philadelphia.

Per PopLegendz.com, the NFTs will be available via auction and a special fan club sale. The details are as follows:

Own a Piece of Nirvana History Auction: On 02.20.2022, which would have been Kurt Cobain’s 55th birthday, at 2:20pm EST, Pop Legendz holds an auction of four unique NFTs of GIF artworks here. Each artwork is crafted from five never-before-seen images. Additionally, `10 still images in both b&w and color will be included in this auction. Plus each winner of an auction will receive a unique framed, fine-art 16″x24″ print of one image, signed by the photographer. Nirvana Fan Club Sale: A sale of limited-edition NFTs for fans: 100 lucky fans will purchase 10 artworks crafted from 3 images at USD$499 each, plus 100 copies of each of 31 still images will be sold for USD$99 each. PopLegendz.com further notes, “Half of all proceeds from both the auction and the sale benefit The Trevor Project, a non-profit assisting at-risk LGBTQ+ youth to prevent suicides.
