Oasis Achieves One Million Album Sales in 2025 Despite No New Releases

Oasis sold one million albums in the UK during 2025, despite not releasing anything new in 17 years. Sales surged after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher announced their reunion tour plans last August. Two of their albums made it into the year’s top 10 charts. The greatest hits collection, *Time Flies . . . 1994-2009*, landed in fourth place, while the reissued *What’s The Story) Morning Glory?* took the seventh spot.

The Oasis Live ’25 tour set records, becoming the biggest concert launch in UK history. Over 10 million fans from 158 countries lined up for tickets last summer. The band’s popularity also boosted vinyl sales by 13.3 percent across the UK, totaling 7.6 million units by the end of the year.

Noel and Liam parted ways 15 years ago after a backstage fight in Paris. They wrapped up their 41-date reunion tour in November, performing in front of 60,000 fans in São Paulo, Brazil. The tour will continue into the new year across the UK and Ireland.

Fans are buzzing about what’s next for the band. There’s talk of a new greatest hits package, stadium shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, and possibly another performance at Knebworth. Noel Gallagher had previously suggested a compilation of post-2000 Oasis classics, but Liam turned it down.

In a recent interview, Noel said, “He wouldn’t have it in the end, I don’t know why.” Both brothers are expected to take a break to reflect on the tour’s success. Being back together on stage has been amazing for them, especially with guitarist Bonehead joining for the final shows. Fans are eager for more, with discussions about an Etihad residency next summer and offers from Coachella and Benicàssim festivals.
