Oasis Contributes Exclusive Live Track to HELP(2) Charity Album as Reunion Rumors Intensify

Oasis is set to release a live version of “Acquiesce” for the War Child charity album HELP(2), which drops this Friday. The band recorded the track on September 28, 2025, during their final sold-out show at Wembley Stadium in London. “Acquiesce” will be available as a standalone seven-inch vinyl single included with the vinyl edition of HELP(2). It will also appear as a hidden track on the two-CD version. The track will be available on streaming services starting Friday, marking the first live recording from their 2025 reunion tour to be released physically.

Oasis played a significant role in the original 1995 HELP Album, which featured a variety of top U.K. artists, including Paul McCartney, Radiohead, and Blur. That album was recorded in just one day and raised over $1.25 million to support War Child’s efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, selling more than 700,000 copies.

HELP(2) features contributions from a diverse lineup of artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, Beck, Arlo Parks, and the first new song from Arctic Monkeys since 2022. The album was recorded in one week last November at Abbey Road Studios in London, produced by James Ford.

Oasis hasn’t released a new album since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul. Their 2025 reunion tour marked their first shows together in 16 years. Noel Gallagher has said that last year’s shows were “better than the 90s.” He described the reunion as “the most incredible thing” they’ve ever done, expressing how amazing it was to come back after so long and achieve No. 1 albums again. Fans can look forward to the new release and the excitement surrounding the band’s return.
