U2 will release a new single, “Street of Dreams,” on Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET. The band shared a short audio clip and a fragment of the music video ahead of the drop.
They filmed the video in Mexico City in June and posted a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram. The post said they “hopped a bus in Mexico City, destination: Street of Dreams,” and included a likely lyric: “Justice an obsession, love is a procession down the street of dreams.”
A press release at the time of the shoot said the song will be on U2’s next album, due later this year. This will be their first album of new material since 2017’s Songs of Experience. Earlier this year they released two EPs with new songs, Days of Ash and Easter Lily.
