‘One Day’ Soundtrack To Be Released On Vinyl

The official soundtrack to standout Netflix series One Day is set to arrive as a 2LP vinyl edition on September 25 via UMR.

The soundtrack curates twenty standout songs from across the twenty years. On heavyweight vinyl, the two disc set opens with Jamie Principle’s “Your Love”—which starts the first episode—and then features key musical moments including “Dreams” by The Cranberries, and more. Check out the full tracklsit below.

As author David Nicholls, said: ‘Music was always going to be an essential part of the One Day story, both on the page and on screen. Music acts a kind of diary, it transports you back into the past, it’s a reflection of character and a way of communicating feelings that can’t quite be spoken out loud.

“The compilation tape that Emma makes for Dexter in 1989 is everything she wants to say, and I loved compiling that list (which morphed over the years into an eighty song playlist), as well as compiling collections of Emma and Dexter’s favorite tracks. Matt Biffa did an amazing job of pulling the soundtrack together, conveying time and place and character through these brilliant songs.”

The hit Netflix TV series One Day—adapted by Drama Republic with Universal International Studios and Focus Features from the bestselling David Nicholls 2009 book—follows the lives and relationship of Emma and Dexter over the course of 20 years.
