The concert film Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning will open in theaters worldwide on Oct. 28. Directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce with live footage handled by Tim Van Someren, the 2-hour and 27-minute feature documents the July 5, 2025, all-day concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Osbourne took the stage at the event just 17 days before he died on July 22, 2025, at age 76.
The sold-out show reunited the original Black Sabbath lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—for the first time in over 20 years. Featuring Tom Morello as music director and Jason Momoa as host, the lineup also included supporting sets from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, and several others, with the concert raising millions for children and medical charities.
