Birmingham will mark the one-year anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne’s death with the first-ever Ozzy Day on July 22. Events across the city will include art installations and live music to celebrate the metal legend. The city’s giant bull statue, named Ozzy, will be dressed up for the occasion.
“Ozzy Day is a fantastic example of Birmingham working together to celebrate the legendary Ozzy Osbourne,” said Sam Watson, chair of Central BID Birmingham. The day will bring together businesses, cultural groups and public spaces for a city-centre celebration.
Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, at 76. His death came just over two weeks after his final performance with his original Black Sabbath bandmates at the Back to the Beginning concert. Fans can expect a mix of tribute shows and art paying tribute to his career and roots in Birmingham.
