A museum exhibit celebrating Ozzy Osbourne in his hometown of Birmingham, U.K., has been extended again due to popular demand. “Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero” opened on June 25 at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. It was initially set to close in September 2025 but was first extended to January 2026. Now, it will remain open until September 27, 2026.
The exhibit launched to coincide with Black Sabbath’s homecoming show at Villa Park on July 5, which was also Ozzy’s final concert. It showcases Ozzy’s solo career, featuring his many awards, photos, and videos that highlight his rise to fame, along with Platinum and Gold discs.
On December 3, which would have been Ozzy’s 77th birthday, the museum added a tribute wall. This wall displays messages from fans following his passing on July 22, featuring 77 notes selected from over 50,000 tributes.
Since its opening, more than 425,000 visitors have explored the exhibit. Zak Mensah and Sara Wajid, co-chief executives of Birmingham Museums Trust, expressed their gratitude for the extension, saying it allows Ozzy’s fans from the UK and around the world to celebrate his incredible life and achievements.
