Shinedown has dropped a new song, "Outlaw," today, April 3. The track is the newest offering from the band’s highly anticipated upcoming album, EI8HT, which serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Planet Zero. Frontman Brent Smith recently teased the song on Facebook, featuring the powerful lyrical hook, “Where is the outlaw in you?”

The release of "Outlaw" adds to an already impressive tracklist for the new record, joining previously released singles such as "Dance, Kid, Dance," "Three Six Five," "Searchlight," "Killing Fields," and "Safe and Sound." Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new material live, as Shinedown is set to launch a massive U.S. tour this May, just weeks before the full album officially arrives on May 29.

A significant piece of Philadelphia radio history will be available to the public on Saturday, April 18, as selections from Pierre Robert’s personal vinyl and CD archive go on sale. Hosted at Vinyl Chickie Record Shoppe, located at 2256 Mt. Carmel Ave. Glenside, Pa 19038, the event—titled From The Collection of Pierre Robert—offers listeners a rare chance to own physical media curated by the longtime 93.3 WMMR DJ. Every item in the collection has been inspected, cleaned, and features a commemorative sticker on the outer sleeve to mark its provenance.

The event is being coordinated by shop owner Lisa Schaffer in conjunction with the Pierre Robert estate. In addition to the standard records and CDs available for purchase, several rare items will be auctioned off, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting charity. While Robert was a legendary advocate for the analog format through his "Vinyl Cut" segment, his legacy continues on the airwaves with Matt Cord carrying the torch every afternoon at 2:15. The sale of Pierre's vinyl provides a tangible connection to the man who spent decades preserving rock culture for the city of Philadelphia.
