“Panic! At The Disco Will Be No More” Brendon Urie Announces

This Spring’s European Tour will be the final curtain call for Panic! At The Disco.

The band was formed by four childhood friends from Las Vegas in 2004. Roughly 10 years into their success, the band had officially become a solo project for the last original member, Brendon Urie.

In a post shared this morning, Brendon announced that he will officially retire the band after this current tour. The final date is March 10th in Manchester, UK. It’s unclear how tickets sales were for that show before the announcement, but they are now currently sold out.

The news came with a positive spin. Urie wrote: “…sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard.. Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon! The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure.”

He continued: “That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more.”

Over the course of their career, Panic! at the Disco was nominated for three Grammy Awards and one Tony. They released their seventh and potentially final studio album, Viva Las Vengeance, on August 19, 2022.
