Papa Roach premiered a new track on January 19 on YouTube. The band played it during a surprise acoustic set at Whiskey Jam in Nashville, a venue run by country star Dierks Bentley. They announced that the full version of the song, titled “Wake Up Calling,” will drop on Wednesday, January 28, at 12 AM ET.
During the acoustic set, Papa Roach also performed stripped-down versions of two of their biggest hits. This new single marks the band’s third release since 2022. Last January, they returned with their first new track in three years, and last summer, they released another single featuring guest vocals from Toby Morse of H2O.
In April 2022, Papa Roach released their eleventh studio album, “Ego Trip,” through their own label, New Noize. The band celebrated the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album, “Infest,” in 2025 with performances around the world. They surprised fans with a special appearance in Las Vegas alongside Carrie Underwood, where they performed “Last Resort.”
Lead singer Jacoby Shaddix has confirmed that the band is currently working on new material for a full album. They have several tracks completed, and the full record is expected to be ready early this year. Fans can look forward to more exciting music from Papa Roach soon!
