Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo have announced they will be hitting the road this spring for a number of North American headlining tour dates.
Starting in Palm Springs on April 11, and all following dates with special guests The Vindys, this 26-date run includes shows in Austin, TX; Memphis, TN; Charlotte, NC; Baltimore, ND; Albany, NY; and more. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
This announcement follows a busy 2024 for the chart-topping duo, who recently announced their forthcoming children’s book My Grandma and Grandpa Rock!
Featuring illustrations by Tiffany Everett, My Grandma and Grandpa Rock! will be published this fall by Sourcebooks, and is an ode to the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren everywhere. Its lyrical story highlights how grandparents can “rock” in a variety of ways or by just being themselves.
The first three albums from Benatar and Giraldo were reissued back in September of last year. In The Heat Of The Night, Crimes Of Passion, and Precious Time were all remastered and offered in special limited edition fruit punch color variants in addition to the standard black.
In The Heat Of The Night, Benatar’s Platinum debut album from 1979, features the breakthrough hit and anthem “Heartbreaker” as well as “I Need A Lover” and the Giraldo-penned “We Live For Love.” Alongside the black vinyl version, the limited edition reissue arrived on tangerine color vinyl.
The Grammy-winning sophomore full-length Crimes Of Passion from 1980 features the Top 10 classic “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “You Better Run,” and “Treat Me Right.” The black vinyl release was complemented by a limited edition opaque magenta version.
Rounding out the reissue series was 1981’s Precious Time, a No.1 smash album featuring the Grammy-winning “Fire & Ice” plus “Promises In The Dark.” The black vinyl standard edition was joined by a limited edition purple run.
