Paul McCartney tried to recreate the iconic Abbey Road shot for a new documentary about Abbey Road Studios and was nearly struck by a car.
The moment was captured in the clip below by Sir Paul’s daughter Mary McCartney, who directed the Disney+ documentary about the famed studio. Even Macca seemed shocked at what almost happened!

If These Walls Could Sing was released on Disney+ on December 16, 2022. In addition to new interviews featuring her father, Mary McCartney also speaks with Elton John, Nile Rodgers, Ringo Starr, Noel Gallagher, George Lucus, Roger Waters and David Gilmour in the film. Mary says in the trailer below, “Abbey Road Studios has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.” As evident by the trailer, Mary clearly has a tremendous amount of love for the legendary recording studio.
