KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were honored at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction in New York City on June 11, 2026. They were celebrated for their contributions to music, with performances of their hits “Rock and Roll All Nite” by Billy Corgan and “Shout It Out Loud” by Corgan and Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls.
Paul Stanley attended the ceremony alone, as Gene Simmons had to miss it due to a family emergency. Stanley expressed his gratitude, saying, “Songwriting has always been the motivation. To be surrounded by the people who inspired me and to have this night of acknowledgment, it’s tough to beat it.”
Other artists inducted that night included Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, and Taylor Swift. It was a memorable evening celebrating the art of songwriting and the impact these musicians have had on the industry.
