Power Trip kicked off night one on Friday (October 6) with Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden rocking the masses in Indio, Calif.

Iron Maiden took to the stage first, playing a 15-song setlist that leaned heavily on their latest album, 2021’s Senjutsu, and 1986’s Somewhere in Time. They opened the show with “Caught Somewhere in Time,” which was captured by Metal Edge.

Following Maiden, GN’R took to the stage. Per Metal Edge, their set started around 10 pm and kicked off with the classic “It’s So Easy.” Notably, this is the first time the reunited Guns N’ Roses have appeared at the Empire Polo Club since they headlined Coachella in 2016. Of course, during that show, Axl Rose performed from the elaborate throne borrowed from Dave Grohl, because he broke his foot during an intimate show at the Troubadour.
