The ad tells the story of a young girl named Isabelle, who feels her birthday gets lost in the Christmas rush. This year, Santa surprises her with a birthday celebration, complete with a “Merry Birthday” cake. Isabelle expresses her frustration in a letter to Santa, saying, “Everyone thinks a Christmas birthday is sooooo great. Well, I think it stinks. My birthday is all about you, you, you. Why can’t I have a birthday with dinosaurs?! … I’d love an actual birthday for once.”
After reading her letter, Santa visits Publix for help. Now, you can order the same two-tiered Merry Birthday cake for your own celebrations. It features a sprinkle-filled top layer and is available by special order with at least 24 hours’ notice. You can place your order online at publix.com/order or by visiting a local store and talking to a bakery associate.
