Rancid has announced a 30th anniversary box set celebrating their 1995 album …And Out Come the Wolves, which is scheduled to ship in January 2027. The collection includes the original album on vinyl, four 7-inch singles that have been out of print since the 1990s, and the first vinyl pressing of Alive—a compilation of demos and live performances recorded between 1995 and 2016. The set also contains a previously unreleased live recording from a November 1995 show in New York City, along with collectibles including a band-signed lithograph, a 45 turntable adapter, an enamel pin, a patch, and a sticker sheet.
Originally released on August 22, 1995, via Epitaph Records, …And Out Come the Wolves reached No. 45 on the Billboard 200 and remains the Bay Area punk band’s only platinum-certified album in the United States. Formed in 1991 by former Operation Ivy members Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, the band later added guitarist Lars Frederiksen ahead of the 1995 release, with drummer Branden Steineckert joining the lineup following their 2003 album Indestructible.
