Reba McEntire’s Keep On Loving You is now available on vinyl for the first time. Originally released August 18, 2009, McEntire’s twenty-seventh studio album was produced by Tony Brown, Mark Bright, and McEntire. It includes her biggest hit, “Consider Me Gone,” which became her first No. 1 single on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart since 2004’s “Somebody” and spent four weeks atop the chart. Like “Somebody,” “Consider Me Gone” cracked the top 40 of the genre-spanning Hot 100 singles chart as well.
Also on the tracklist is “I Keep On Loving You,” co-written by McEntire and Ronnie Dunn, which reached the country top 10. The album opens with “Strange,” the highest-debuting single of McEntire’s career, which started at No. 39 following a performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
In other news, McEntire has been on board as a coach once again as The Voice premiered its new season in September on NBC. In the singing competition’s 26th season, McEntire has been joined by fellow coaches Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé. Team Reba will be looking to repeat as champions after team member Asher HaVon won Season 25.
The Voice isn’t the only way to see McEntire on TV this fall. She’s also starring in the new NBC sitcom Happy’s Place as Bobbie, a woman who inherits her father’s bar following his death. Happy’s Place, which premiered Oct. 18 on NBC, marks her first regular TV series role since Malibu Country in 2012-2013, and pairs her once again with Malibu Country co-creator Kevin Abbott. She previously starred in Reba, which aired on the WB and the CW from 2001-2007.
