Comedian Trevor Noah, host of The Daily Show, will make his return to the Grammy Awards stage as host of the 64th annual ceremony next year, the Recording Academy and CBS have announced. The 2022 Grammys will air live from Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, also known as the Staples Center, on January 31 at 8 pm EST.
“Trevor was amazing as our host for the 63rd Grammy Awards with praise from the music community, music fans and critics,” said Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy. “We’re so excited to welcome Trevor back to the Grammys stage and feel fortunate to once again have him hosting what we believe will be an unforgettable evening.”
Fulwell 73 Productions will produce the ceremony for the Recording Academy. Ben Winston, Jesse Collins, and Raj Kapoor serve as executive producers with Jeannae Rouzan Clay as co-executive producer. Hamish Hamilton returns as director with Kapoor as showrunner. The ceremony will air on the CBS Television Network and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+, as well.

The Grammys have always been donned music’s biggest night and the 2022 ceremony will be no different as some of the industry’s most influential and groundbreaking artists are honored by the Recording Academy.
Musician Jon Batiste leads all nominees with 11 nominations, while pop makes a splash with Justin Bieber and Doja Cat scoring eight nominations apiece and Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo snagging seven each. Drake, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, James Blake, Halsey, BTS, Tony Bennett, and Lady Gaga as well as ABBA are also among the selected nominees.
