Red Hot Chili Peppers and Weezer are set to feature in the upcoming video game, Stage Tour, which is similar to Guitar Hero. The game will include popular tracks like RCHP’s “Dani California” and Weezer’s “Island in the Sun.” Other songs in the lineup are Ghost’s “Square Hammer,” Static-X’s “Terminator Oscillator,” and Extreme’s “Get the Funk Out.”
Stage Tour is scheduled for release this fall and will come with guitar and drum kit controllers. The game is being developed by RedOctane, a studio that includes team members from the original Guitar Hero games. Simon Ebejer, the studio head, shared that the team is made up of passionate developers and players who understand the importance of rhythm games. He believes this mix will help create the experience fans have been waiting for.
