Rick Ross’ Seventh Album ‘Hood Billionaire’ Coming to Limited Edition Vinyl

Rick Ross’ seventh studio album, Hood Billionaire, is getting a limited edition 2LP vinyl release. In addition to original tracklist numbers like “Keep Doin’ That (Rich B***h)” and “Movin’ Bass” featuring Jay-Z, the vinyl features two bonus tracks, “Wuzzup” and “Headache” featuring French Montana. The limited edition Hood Billionaire vinyl ships December 13.

Released under Def Jam Recordings, Hood Billionaire reached No. 2 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart. It features appearances from Jay Z (“Movin’ Bass”), Snoop Dogg (“Quintessential”), Boosie Badazz (“Nickel Rock”), Big K.R.I.T. (“Brimstone), Yo Gotti (“Trap Luv”), and others. The album showcases production from Timbaland, Metro Boomin, Beat Billionaire, and more. The album was supported by the singles “”Elvis Presley Blvd. [ft. Project Pat]”, “Keep Doin’ That (Rich B***h) [ft. R. Kelly],” and “Nickel Rock.”

In a 2014 interview with The New Yorker, Ross offered advice on how to embody the album’s lifestyle. “You know, it can be small things. I’m talking about going to a ball game with your kid,” he said. “Most definitely, a dad who does that’s a Hood Billionaire.”

Earlier in 2014, Ross released Mastermind, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. That album featured Jay Z (“The Devil Is a Lie”), The Weeknd (“In Vein”), Kanye West and Big Sean (“Sanctified”), Meek Mill (“Walkin’ on Air”), Lil Wayne (“Thug Cry”), French Montana (“What a Shame”), Jeezy (“War Ready”), and more.

Earlier this year, Ross appeared on LL Cool J’s “Saturday Night Special” alongside Fat Joe. In 2021, Ross released his 11th studio album, Richer Than I Ever Been. That same year, he performed a career-spanning set during an NPR “Tiny Desk From Home” concert. During his set, he remarked: “So many inspired the Boss. I could look at any brother on the street and get some inspiration from them, regardless of how many followers you got on social media, regardless of what you’re riding in. I could learn something from you. I ain’t scared to. Let’s make sure we keep building.”
