Ringo Starr has announced new tour dates for his Ringo & His All Starr Band Fall Tour, which will see them return to a few of Ringo’s favorite venues.

These spots include Fallsview Casino in Ontario, where he has launched several tours (2010, 2012) and to Radio City Music Hall where he has performed eight times with the All Starrs between 1992-2018. That celebrated venue was also where, on July 7, 2010, Ringo and the All Starrs were joined by two surprise guests, his fellow Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney and Joe Walsh, in celebration of Ringo’s 70th birthday.

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band featuring Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette will play 12 shows overall.

The tour will be in part to support Ringo’s fifth EP, Crooked Boy, which will be released in limited edition marble vinyl on Record Store Day, which is set for April 20. To celebrate the release, Ringo appeared at Amoeba Records on Hollywood Boulevard for a special listening party on April 18.

The new EP consists of four original tracks. All songs were written and produced by Linda Perry for Starr to make his own, adding vocals and playing drums. Next Friday, April 26, the project will be released digitally.

After previously collaborating on two songs that appeared on earlier Ringo EPs (“Coming Undone” on Change the World and “Everyone and Everything” on EP3), Linda approached Ringo and asked if she could produce an entire EP – and Crooked Boy is the result.

“Linda made me a great EP – she produced it in her studio and then sent me the tracks and I added the drumming and my vocals,” Ringo said. “‘February Sky’ is great – very moody – but since Linda wrote these specifically for me – it of course has to have a positive peace & love element.”

Visit your local record store on April 20th to grab a copy of the Record Store Day vinyl release of Crooked Boy.
