Robert Smith has been spending time in the studio with Olivia Rodrigo! The Cure frontman joined her on stage at Glastonbury 2025 to perform “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven.” Since then, they’ve kept in touch.
In a recent interview, Smith shared that Rodrigo often calls him to chat about fashion. He also mentioned they’ve had some great nights working together in the studio. “I can’t wait to hear what she does next!” he said.
Smith is a fan of Rodrigo’s music, too. He bought her albums, SOUR and GUTS, after hearing her hit song “drivers license.” He joked that while the songs might not be aimed at his age group, he loves them anyway. “They are all so good that it is hard not to fall in love with them,” he added.
