Roddy Bottum of Faith No More Announces Live Book Events for Upcoming Memoir, ‘The Royal We’

Roddy Bottum, the keyboardist of Faith No More, has announced three live events to celebrate his upcoming memoir, *The Royal We*. The events will take place on November 13 in New York City, November 18 in Los Angeles, and November 20 in San Francisco. Ticket details will be shared soon.

*The Royal We* is set to be released on November 4. The book tells the story of Bottum’s journey from growing up gay in Los Angeles, where he had no role models, to moving to San Francisco. There, he formed Faith No More and toured the world, overcoming heroin addiction and the challenges of the AIDS crisis, ultimately becoming a queer icon. Courtney Love praised the book, calling it “a brilliant and gorgeous book.”

Meanwhile, Faith No More remains on hiatus after canceling their tour in 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on Roddy’s events and the memoir!
