Roger Waters and his son, Harry Waters, are on the hunt for a singer to lead a Pink Floyd tribute tour. They announced plans for a show called “Legacy: A Pink Floyd Show,” performed by the Harry Waters Band, with the tagline: “The Father’s Legacy, the Son’s Band.” However, they need to find the right voice before hitting the road.
Roger shared on social media that Harry has put together a great band to celebrate the music from Pink Floyd’s golden era, along with some of Roger’s solo songs. But he emphasized that they are missing one crucial element: the voice he had in his youth.
He reminisced about his ability to sing everything from the soft tones of “Hello, is there anybody in there?” from “Comfortably Numb” to the high-energy scream of “You know how I need you to beat to a pulp on a Saturday night” from “Don’t Leave Me Now.”
Roger is inviting anyone who thinks they can match that voice to audition for Harry’s band. Submissions are now open at HarryWaters.com, with a deadline of April 30. The tentative plan is to start touring in February 2027. If you think you have what it takes, this could be your chance to shine!
