Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr Marks Two Years of Sobriety

Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr deserves some major praise as the vocalist/bassist has marked two years of sobriety.

Kerr celebrated the accomplishment in a post to Royal Blood’s Instagram where he shared a photo of his two-year chip along with the caption, “Two years sober. One day at a time.”

Kerr noted about his sobriety decision in an interview with DIY“I really feel like it’s helped me to access all of my brain, all of my potential. There were a lot of reasons for wanting to sort my s— out, but my songwriting has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of it.”

Royal Blood will be releasing their third studio album, Typhoons, on April 30. The LP is available for pre-order on vinyl, CD, cassette and digital formats at RoyalBloodBand.com.
