Rush has announced two new vinyl releases coming Oct. 2.
First, The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974–1987, the band’s 2003 best-of, will be on vinyl for the first time. It will be available as a two-LP set with all 16 original tracks, and as a one-LP, 10-track edition.
Also arriving Oct. 2 is a 50th anniversary vinyl of 2112. That edition was pressed on black liquid vinyl and was previously sold only at the UMusic Shop in New York during Rush’s recent Madison Square Garden shows.
The news comes as Rush continues its Fifty Something tour, which began in June. It’s their first tour since 2015 and their first since drummer Neil Peart’s death in 2020. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson reformed the band in 2025 with drummer Anika Nilles. The tour moves to Toronto this Friday for the first of four hometown shows that will be filmed.
