Sam Fender surprised the crowd during Olivia Dean’s headlining set at Lollapalooza on Saturday. He joined her to perform “Rein Me In.” It was their first time playing the song together in the U.S.
Fender shared video of the moment on Instagram and thanked the festival and Dean. The duet comes after “Rein Me In” broke a 73-year-old U.K. chart record. The song has now spent 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
“Rein Me In” first appeared on Fender’s 2025 album People Watching. The duet version with Olivia Dean was later included on the album’s deluxe edition.
