Sammy Hagar is the latest musician to set up a residency in Las Vegas.
Taking place October 29-30 and November 5-6, Hagar’s residency (dubbed “Sammy Hagar and Friends”) will set up shop at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod.
In a statement, Hagar said, “I’ve been searching the Las Vegas Strip trying to find the right room, ambience and partners to create a very special Cabo Wabo birthday bash type environment for my band members and musician friends to create the ultimate party residency. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ‘Sammy and Friends.’ You all know the rules. There aren’t any.”
Hagar’s backing band of Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson will be taking part in this residency, as is “a rotating circle of his legendary friends.”
