The Scorpions kicked off a five-night run at Planet Hollywood yesterday, marking the beginning of their 60th year. This exciting milestone brings new music and teaching projects for the band. On September 26, they will release *From The First Sting*, a collection of their greatest hits featuring two new songs. One of the fresh tracks is a reimagined version of “Still Loving You,” featuring British violinist Vanessa Mae. The other new song is titled “This Is My Song.” Fans can get this album on vinyl or CD, showcasing the Scorpions’ musical journey and impact.
In addition to their music, the band’s key members—Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, and Matthias Jabs—are now teaching music online. They share insights on record-making and their creative process. Students can learn what it takes to succeed in the music industry, as the artists discuss their live performances and studio techniques to inspire others. As one fan noted, “The Scorpions demonstrate how music connects people.”
Buckcherry is opening for the Scorpions each night. The concert dates were moved from February after drummer Mikkey Dee recovered from a health issue. Earlier this year, on July 5, the band performed a major show at Hanover Stadium Arena in Germany. Fans can purchase this concert as well.
With over 120 million albums sold, the Scorpions continue to create hits. Their latest album, *Rock Believer*, was released in 2022 and recorded at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, finishing at Hansa Studios in Berlin. *From The First Sting* will be available in different formats. European fans can get a special edition with two records, two CDs, and a large picture book, while American fans can choose between double vinyl or a single CD.
