Sebastián Yatra Shares Heartfelt New Single ‘Los Domingos’ Tim Peacock

Again demonstrating his exceptional talent for creating music that strikes a chord, Sebastián Yatra, the acclaimed singer-songwriter and Latin Grammy winner, has released his new single, “Los Domingos.”

This new acoustic ballad ends the wait for fans who have been eagerly scouring social media for hints about the release. The title was revealed by Yatra himself during a unique genre/single reveal event in Mexico.

“Los Domingos” takes listeners on a journey where Sebastián imagines various scenarios of reuniting with the girl of his dreams, accompanied by gentle guitar strumming and emotional lyrics. This release, following a significant period without new music, marks a new chapter in his career and highlights the evolution of his artistry, offering a first glimpse into his upcoming musical project.

The artist says “This song is perfect for dedicating to someone special. It marks the beginning of a beautiful phase in my career, after a year and a half of inspiration and songwriting. With this track, I return to my romantic roots, feeling both nervous and excited. I believe we are in a moment in music where people truly connect with what they hear. For me, it’s important to create timeless songs and touch the heart.”

The new single is accompanied by a music video, directed by Pablo Curto and produced by Sample , featuring Sebastián playing the guitar against a backdrop of imaginative scenes illustrating what could have been the long-for relationship. The video, shot in Madrid, is now available on the artist’s YouTube channel, and you can also watch it above.

Continuing his commitment to empowering aspiring young musicians, the Sebastián Yatra Scholarship, awarded in partnership with the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation , has been granted to Cuban bassist Leo Luna Roblejo. The scholarship will support Roblejo’s undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music for the Fall 2024 semester.

Recently, the Colombian singer continues to consolidate his position as one of the most influential Latin pop artists. After his successful performance at the Starlite in Marbella last weekend, Yatra broke attendance records by performing in front of more than 65,000 people during the closing of the San Ginés festivities at the Playa del Reducto in Arrecife, making the event one of the largest and most memorable in the city’s recent history.
