See the trailer for the new Static-X documentary

​ Static-X has unveiled the first trailer for the new documentary, Evil Disco: The Rise, Fall and Regeneration of Static-X, which coincides with the 25th anniversary of the release of their debut album, Wisconsin Death Trip.  

The band shared: “25 years ago today, Static-X unleashed Wisconsin Death Trip onto the world.On this very special anniversary, we would like to share a teaser for the official Static-X documentary film, Evil Disco: The Rise, Fall, and Regeneration of Static-X. Ken, Tony, Wayne, Koichi, & Xer0″

Metal Injection reports that the documentary features the band’s surviving classic members (guitarist Koichi Fukuda, bassist Tony Campos and drummer Ken Jay) as well as existing recordings of Wayne Static, and several of the band’s peers, including: Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), Edsel Dope (Dope, manager/producer), Meegs Rascón (Coal Chamber), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), John 5 (Motley Crue), and Lajon Witherspoon (Sevendust).  They recollect the band’s early platinum-certified success, the tragic loss of Wayne and his wife Tera Wray, and their return with frontman Xer0.
