The professional dancer announced her return to the ballroom on ‘Good Morning America’ after last competing in 2021.
Sharna Burgess announced Monday on Good Morning America that she will return as a competing professional dancer for Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars. The upcoming season marks Burgess’ 15th season competing on the series and her first appearance on the show since Season 30 in 2021, when she competed alongside her now-fiancĆ©, actor Brian Austin Green. Burgess previously won the show’s Mirrorball Trophy in 2018 during Season 27 with radio personality Bobby Bones.
Several celebrity contestants have already been confirmed for Season 35, including Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez, the latter of whom will be partnered with returning pro Witney Carson. The remainder of the Season 35 cast will be revealed September 2 on GMA. The new season is scheduled to premiere with a two-night event on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming available on Hulu.
