Shinedown Crew Members Have Scary Run-In with the Police

Shinedown crew members shared an intense interaction via Instagram with Arizona police.

Jeramy “Hoogie” Donais and Sanjay Parikh shared the video below of the incident that involved being handcuffed and having guns drawn on them.

Per the video’s description, “Turns out, this rental car that was rented from the airport had stolen plates… lol Once all the officers saw that we were calm with the situation and not car thieves, we were told the situation and all had an unfortunate laugh about the whole thing.”

Avis Car Rental is also tagged in the clip, which also features the hashtag #EpicFail.

In other (and far more upbeat) Shinedown news: Frontman Brent Smith was recently asked in a new interview about whether the band would consider playing the Super Bowl Halftime Show, if they were asked. Smith said the band would play “in a heartbeat.” He also weighed in on Usher being tapped for the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show. Smith called the R&B superstar “a bad mofo” and an “incredible performer.”

Additionally, Smith showed some love for Rihanna, who headlined the Halftime Show earlier this year. He called the singer “a true boss” for unveiling her pregnancy and performing such a high-profile gig while pregnant.
