Skillet and Sevendust brought their co-headlining Victorious War Summer 2019 Tour to Lancaster, PA on August 14th, 2019. Pop Evil and Devour the Day will open the show.
Skillet frontman John Cooper said: “We’re thrilled to be touring with Sevendust. The lineup is incredible and I think the fans will be very happy. We can’t wait to play our new songs on the tour and connect with the Panheads out on the road.”
The run of late-summer performances began on Aug. 11 in Memphis, Tennessee (Skillet’s hometown) and continues throughout the month and before wrapping up on Sept. 7 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The co-headlining tour will see the two popular rock bands, in addition to Pop Evil and Devour the Day, hitting a mix of venues in major and mid-sized cities throughout the midwest and along the western U.S. Sevendust will be on hand for every show on the tour, with exception of the Sept. 7 performance at the Brady Theater in Tulsa.
Skillet, the veteran Christian hard rock band from Tennessee, recently relesed their 10th album “Victorious” on August 2nd, 2019. he follow-up to the RIAA-gold-certified “Unleashed” (SKILLET‘s fourth consecutive album to receive either a gold, platinum, or double-platinum certification), the new project continues to propel the band’s position as one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century, racking up over one billion streams in 2018 alone.
As for Sevendust, they celebrated the release of their twelfth studio album last spring with All I See Is War, which arrived via and would go on to peak at No. 28 on the Billboard 200 Album Sales Chart in the U.S. The band spent much of this winter on tour across the country in continued promotion of the album.
