Slash has partnered with Dunlop to launch the MXR Slash Signature Talk Box, available exclusively on Reverb for $499.99. Built upon the classic Heil Talk Box circuit, the pedal comes in a candy apple red enclosure and features an upgraded loudspeaker handpicked by Slash for increased volume and low-end punch, along with a reworked conical tube adapter designed to improve airflow, clarity, and response.
Slash, who got his first talk box at age 16 after being inspired by Peter Frampton’s “Do You Feel Like We Do,” Jeff Beck’s “She’s a Woman,” and Aerosmith’s live “Walk This Way,” described the talk box as a classic effect that transforms the guitar into an extension of the player’s voice.
