Slash has wrapped up mixing the next album from Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, set to drop in January 2027. He finished sequencing the album on February 7, 2026, but it won’t be released until his commitments with Guns N’ Roses are complete in December 2026.
“It’s done. We just finished mixing it. I finished the sequence yesterday,” Slash said in a recent interview. “It’s a killer record, man. We’re excited about it, but it won’t come out until the Guns tour is over. So, it’ll be released in January 2027, and then we’ll hit the road for a world tour.”
Guns N’ Roses will be on tour from March to December 2026, which pushed back the release of the new album to ensure a proper tour cycle.
Myles Kennedy recorded his vocals in August 2025. The Alter Bridge frontman confirmed that all tracks were completed months ago. “All the tracks are recorded. I finished my vocals back in August 2025,” Kennedy shared. “The goal is to get it released soon.”
Recording began in November 2024 at studios in Los Angeles and Florida. Drummer Brent Fitz mentioned that the band spent a month in L.A. before heading to Florida to lay down the bed tracks.
Kennedy described the album’s sound as consistent with their previous work. “We have a certain approach that we keep consistent throughout. You’re never going to get a synth-pop record from us because our fans expect a certain thing, and that’s what we do.”
The last album, titled “4,” was released in February 2022 through Gibson Records. It was produced by Dave Cobb and marked the first time the band recorded everything live in the studio. After the January 2027 release, they will embark on a world tour.
