Rock legend Slash is set to release a new concert film and live album titled *Live at the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival* on November 7 through earMUSIC. This recording captures his electrifying performance from July 17, 2024, at Denver’s Mission Ballroom.
In this concert, Slash delivers 15 tracks that blend raw blues with rock classics. He is joined by a talented band, featuring Teddy “ZigZag” Andreadis on keys and harmonica, Tash Neal on rhythm guitar, Johnny Griparic on bass, and Michael Jerome on drums.
Slash reflects on his musical journey, saying, “When I first picked up the guitar, the guys that I was inspired by were all heavily influenced by Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and Robert Johnson. I just went full circle.” The band dives deep into the roots of blues, performing songs originally by legends like Bukka White and Howlin’ Wolf. They also put their unique spin on classics from Booker T. & the MG’s, Fleetwood Mac, and The Temptations.
Between songs, Slash shares his personal connection to blues music, making the experience even more special for fans.
