Social Distortion has just released a new song titled “Partners in Crime,” which is part of their upcoming album, Born to Kill. Frontman Mike Ness shared that the song is about finding your voice, especially if you’ve felt silenced. He emphasizes the importance of connecting with others who share similar feelings of angst and rage, highlighting the strength that comes from unity.
Born to Kill, which features the previously released title track, is set to drop on May 8. This album is significant as it marks the band’s first release in 15 years and their first since Ness was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in 2023.
To support the new album, Social Distortion will kick off a U.S. tour in August. Fans can look forward to experiencing the band’s latest music live.
