Sombr teamed up with Billy Idol during his second performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 18, 2026. After bringing out Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins for a duet of “1979” the previous weekend, Sombr welcomed another rock legend, Billy Idol, to the stage. They performed Idol’s classic hit “Eyes Without a Face,” joined by Idol’s longtime guitarist, Steve Stevens, who is also being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Sombr expressed his gratitude on Instagram, saying, “Thanks to the legends @billyidol & @stevestevens for joining me.” Billy Idol replied, thanking Sombr for the opportunity. Sombr also paid tribute to the ’90s by covering Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” during his set.
In his Instagram Story, Sombr announced, “If you liked what you saw at Coachella, I’m coming to an arena near you in North America.” Tickets for his You Are the Reason tour are now available. He will perform in Mexico City and at Red Rocks in July, with the main tour kicking off in September in Vancouver.
