Someone Re-Recorded Metallica’s ‘…And Justice For All’ in the Style of Mario 64 Music

No one asked for this Metallica/Mario 64 tribute. Alas, here we are, and we’re kind of here for it.

YouTube MawinSwag shared the video below, which is a re-recording of Metallica’s classic 1988 album …And Justice For All done in the Mario 64 soundfont. Believe it or not, it’s far more pleasurable and soothing than you’d expect.

However, one thing you can expect is the comment section of this clip on YouTube being absolutely wild. The most-liked comment came in hot with a Jason Newsted-themed joke writing, “I can never forgive Mario for turning down Toad’s bass in the original mix.” Other fans were just so impressed with the overall feat. One wrote, “How did I reach a point in my life where I’m headbanging to ‘Blackened’ in the Mario 64 soundfont? This was awesome!”

Also, the altered album cover featuring Princess Peach? Flawless!
