Staind Celebrates 25th Anniversary of ‘Break the Cycle’ with Nationwide Tour

Staind is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their iconic album, *Break the Cycle*. This album changed the lives of the band and its members. To mark this milestone, Staind has announced a U.S. tour this fall. The tour kicks off on September 8 in Atlanta and wraps up with a show in Austin, Texas, on October 19. Joining them on the road are Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder.

Frontman Aaron Lewis shared his excitement, saying, “25 years later to be touring, celebrating this album and bringing our music to our fans near and far is something really special. I’m looking forward to going out with these guys. It’s like one big family reunion.”

*Break the Cycle* features hit singles like “It’s Been Awhile,” “Fade,” “Outside,” and “For You,” and it has been certified five-times Platinum by the RIAA. While there’s no news on new music, Staind released their latest album, *Confessions of the Fallen*, in 2023.

Staind played a key role in shaping the post-grunge era. They brought depth and raw emotion to their music, moving away from the typical rock bravado. Aaron Lewis’s vocals felt personal and honest, as if he was sharing his innermost thoughts. This authenticity became their trademark.

Their sound combined heavy riffs with moments of silence, making the quiet parts just as impactful as the loud ones. Songs like “It’s Been Awhile” and “Outside” felt genuine and relatable, like confessions shared in private.

Staind also expanded the emotional range of the genre, showing that vulnerability can be powerful. Their influence has inspired many bands to embrace a more introspective approach.
